Before assuming office with ABU, which brings together over 130 broadcasting organizations from 54 countries, David Astley was Chief Executive of several regional radio and free-to-air television networks in Australia. He has held directorships of broadcasting companies in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Haroldo Castro has more than thirty years of professional experience as an international communications strategist, an award-winning filmmaker and television producer, a photojournalist, and a conservationist.

Madelaine Westwood, UK.
Co-president, Filmmakers for Conservation, Producer.

Madelaine Westwood has extensive experience in film-making and film-training. She is director/producer of her own independent production company. Madelaine is co-president of Filmmakers for Conservation, an award-winning international TV and media organization working for global conservation.
